I want to shout!

I want to shout to release the stress from within. Having so much negativity around me kinda drains me out. I can't wait for that moment when I can shout for joy because of something great happened to me!

Waaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

Forever Young

I was at work last week, when suddenly, I remembered a story about a kid who found a man, trapped in a cryonic freezer. Weeks later, the man started to grow old very fast, from dark to white hair, young and tight skin to old and loose skin. That's all I could remember about it. At first, I thought it was an imagination, but when I told my colleague about it, she told me she knew that story as well. Actually, if she didn't knew it, I would try to search, search and search. The thing with me is that when I have something in my mind, like this story, that I couldn't think of, what title, or who are the cast, I will not be able to sleep until I finally have the information with me. Thanks to Google as well.

If my memory serves me right, this was the very first movie that I've ever seen in my entire life. Thanks to my colleague, she helped me remember the title, the cast of characters, and the ending of the story. That same day, I had "Forever Young" on my download list, hoping that soon, I'll be able to watch it again.

NATGEO Earth Day Run

Arrrggghh! I've been thinking really hard if I'll sign up for this or not. I already had a chance to sign up yesterday but I was having second thoughts if I will be able to finish it. The only ones open for online registration until yesterday were the 10k and the 21k run. It's going to be my first time if I'll be joining this race and I will need to condition my body ifever.

I'm hoping my friend gets to sign me up for that 10k run so I could still take part for the said race.

I regret the moment I let this chance passed. Anyway, I still have until April 3, 2011 to sign up via Green Belt 3 cash registration. I'm not sure if I could go there once my schedule changes to Friday -  Saturday rest day but it's going to be okay because the shirts being given to participants are limited edition.

Hoping to join the run in next year's race!

Siam House 26032011

My friends and I had a get together today because finally after two straight years, one of our friends went home for a vacation. We really missed seeing her, and when we saw her it was like "College days".

My bestfriend finally had her wish come true when we decided to dine in at a Thai Restaurant. Months before, my bestfriend was asking me if I know a restaurant which serves Thai cuisine. It so happen that my officemate knew one, so I suggested it to her.

Here are some of the foodies that we ate at Siam House in Fields Avenue, Angeles City.

Pad Thai

The number one on your list should be Pad Thai. It is made of flat noodles with shrimps, pork, bean sprouts and finely chopped peanuts which makes it so delicious!
Spicy Soup

This spicy soup has tomatoes, chicken bits, ginger, chili, onions and leeks. I won't go for this if I were you. ^^
Binagoongan Rice

I love this binagoongan rice! It has shrimps, scrambled eggs, raw mangoes, bagoong and rice.
Fish Cakes

This one's fried fish with spicy sauce. Try it!
Oriental Spinach

Young Corn and Pork

Iced Tea

Sauted oriental spinach with shrimps. In simple term, kangkong with shrimps.

Sauted young corn with pork, shrimps, bell pepper, onions. ^^

Regular iced tea but I love it!
My friends

We ended up going to MarQuee mall after, then at Cioccolo near Grand Palazzo Royale. Haha! Went home at around 12 midnight the next day! ^^

Oh you poor maya bird

I had a great night last 20th of April 2009. A colleague of mine was with me while waiting for our shuttle service at Clark Main Gate. The rain stopped and suddenly, a maya bird flew to the ground behind my colleague,
Jane. We actually thought that it was a cockroach but we wondered why it was huge so we took a closer look. We noticed that the bird was wet and unable to fly. It's tail-feathers that are used for navigating flight are so wet.

Since I'm fond of birds, I took it and let it rest on my palm until we reached the premise of our workplace. Upon reaching our workplace, we decided to let it fly as we don't know where to keep it safe. So what I did was to set it free after drying it's feathers. We were in the lawn and it was a bit rainy. Jane blew the back of the bird and voila! the bird flew as high as it can to the tree near us.

When I was a little kid, my mom used to bring me to her hometown in Ebus, Guagua. I used to ask my cousins to help me catch some maya birds so that I have something to take home. Most of the time, we are able to see a female maya bird laying on her eggs to hatch. One time, my cousin gave me three eggs and I brought them home. I was hoping that I could let them hatch. I even remembered that I tried to put them under the sun, but it didn't work.

One Christmas, I found two maya birds inside our house. They were trapped inside my mothers room. I caught them but eventually set them free as well because there's nothing I can do with them.

What I usually do as a child when rainy season comes is to rest inside my room and watch television. Since all the birds gets wet, I wait until they come by my window and I try to catch them. One time, I was able to catch one and put it inside the cage of my hamster. However, my hamster ate one of the bird's leg and eventually died. I was so sorry about what happened so what I did was bury the bird.

There was also another time, it was also raining and a bird came by our window and I tried to catch it. I was wrong in getting it from behind because when the maya bird flew, all of its tail-feathers were plucked from its behind.

Piano - what drives me

It has been always a blessing to me whenever I hear someone play the piano. This April 2009, I was able to watch a concert on TV of a Korean pianist who was on a tour for a foundation called "Beautiful Children". She was handicapped but awesome, considering she only has two fingers with each hands and with her feet not touching the pedals since she has dwarfism syndrome. She's also unbelievable, passionate and has a good spirit. I was startled on how she plays the piano with her 4 fingers. More so when she sang the song "Anak" by Freddie Aguilar and she nailed it along with the piano.

I am glad that I can also play the piano and I want to be a part of a piano concert. Self study is what I do at home. For four months, I studied playing the keyboard at Notes and Rhythm located at Miranda St. Angeles City. I had the privilege to be taught by the best and well - known music mentor in town. I love the way she teach her students. She usually play another instrument like violin while her student is playing. Now that I am no longer enrolled at her school, I make sure that I am able to practice my piano or keyboard skills whenever I have spare time.

The two persons that inspires me most in loving and playing the piano are my friend io(short for his nickname) and yin(that's what I call her). Back in 2005, I received a present from yin, it was a piece that she played over the phone for roughly three minutes. I don't remember the title of the said piece but what I could remember is that it was really nice of her to play a piece for me for my birthday. That was one of the most valuable presents that I received since birth. My other friend io has not given me anything like yin's but I was amazed to know that he can also play the piano. These two friends of mine always keeps the passion inside me. That is why I became passionate in learning how to play the keyboard or the piano.

What I love the most about the piano is that it's classic unlike the keyboard wherein you can play around with the rhythm etc. I remember when my mentor asks me to play with the rhythm, I stutter.

I'm not musically inclined but I can say that I am beginning to be like it. I keep bugging my mom if she could buy me a piano, but I guess I have to wait until I save enough money to get one. I kind of regret not buying the roll-up piano that I saw in Singapore. It only costs S$48 and that would only be about Php1488 in peso. My friend yin was also wanting one, but she doesn't have any money to buy one.

Fastforward.. I was amazed when I heard my mom saying that she will be putting me at music school again. My mom said that she has a friend that can help me with the piano or keyboard lesson. I though am a bit feeling awkward because I'm uncomfortable with that setup. It sounded more complicated because the friend that she was talking about was also one of the former student of my mentor. But I guess that will never happen coz' both of us are busy.
