The joy of giving through good deeds

This video never fail to touch my heart. It depicts what the GOLDEN RULE is all about. Take this video as a perfect example. The man's kindness boomerang at him and the simplest act of kindness sometimes even doubles.

As they always say: "It is through selfless giving that we truly receive." We should start thinking and caring about others more than ourselves. That I guess is our main purpose in LIFE. PEACE!

Forever Young

I was at work last week, when suddenly, I remembered a story about a kid who found a man, trapped in a cryonic freezer. Weeks later, the man started to grow old very fast, from dark to white hair, young and tight skin to old and loose skin. That's all I could remember about it. At first, I thought it was an imagination, but when I told my colleague about it, she told me she knew that story as well. Actually, if she didn't knew it, I would try to search, search and search. The thing with me is that when I have something in my mind, like this story, that I couldn't think of, what title, or who are the cast, I will not be able to sleep until I finally have the information with me. Thanks to Google as well.

If my memory serves me right, this was the very first movie that I've ever seen in my entire life. Thanks to my colleague, she helped me remember the title, the cast of characters, and the ending of the story. That same day, I had "Forever Young" on my download list, hoping that soon, I'll be able to watch it again.

Puss In Boots goes Solo

This cute little naughty cat is now going solo! I can't wait til the movie premiere! I'm sure it's going to be good as the Shrek series ^^p

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin

Another telenovela series premiered last night in ABS-CBN primetime block. It is entitled Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin(I Will Only Love You Once) and has powercast like and Ronaldo Valdez, Amy Austria, John Estrada, Lorna Tolentino, Dante Rivero, Boots Anson-Roa, Maja Salvador, Andi Eigenmann, and Coco Martin.

As the poster says, the story will circle around patriotism, love, and family. I'm quite sure that it'll be a big hit! Good luck to the show and cast.

I was able to watch the pilot episode last night, and it turned out pretty good. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to watch it daily because I work during graveyard shift. I don't have any intentions of watching it via any video streaming sites even if I have time. haha PEACE! :-)

The Price Is Right(Pinoy Edition) goes LIVE!

Yes, you heard it right! Finally, after three weeks, The Price Is Right of ABS-CBN goes LIVE starting today March 7, 2011. Hosted by the Queen of Game Shows Ms. Kris Aquino and voice over provided by The Riches, The Amazing Race Asia 4 winners Richard Hardin and Richard Herrera.

The Price Is Right is indeed the longest running game show in the world and now captivating the hearts of Filipinos all around the world with this new game show from ABS-CBN. It's now making Pinoys become price conscious with every thing that they buy.

The game mechanics also changed due to time constraint and because for a fact that it is now airing LIVE. From four contestants in winning minor showcases, it's now down to three, all three winners get to make two spins and whoever is closest to 100 without going over will play the Jackpot Showcase. Additionally, players of the minor showcases would have two "partner" players. The two will win Php5,000 if the player wins the showcase.

Some of the games adapted for this Pinoy Edition are It's In The Bag, Hi Lo, Double Prices, Pick-A-Pair, Easy as 1,2,3 and many more exciting games.

Boyce Avenue - Jabbawockeez - Kris Allen Concert 06022009

About more than a year ago, I went to a concert with my friends. At first, I thought the concert was for Boyce Avenue alone, later did we know that the Jabbawockeez and Kris Allen will be performing as well. It was my first time to go to a concert and in General Admission. What?! Yeah, General Admission it is. Though it was good, we were supposed to leave early but we rather stayed and finished the show. 

Before the concert, we left Pampanga around eleven in the morning. This is to allow us to tour around the malls near Makati City. The concert started around eight in the evening and ended up around twelve midnight. After that, we went to a coffee shop because I for sure will not be allowed to go home late, so it's either come home early in the evening, or come home early in the morning. So we went home around three and ate breakfast in Sumpan, Balibago, Angeles City before heading home.

I can't wait for the next time that we'll watch a concert! I'm hoping and betting at least on the VIP seats! :-)

Predator

These awesome photographs are just some of the photos taken by Jason Paul Laxamana. The location, concept, artist, photographer, and the quality of the photos itself are great. Predator is one of my favorites in Jason’s portfolio.

This collection was brought about due to the model’s need for a school contest he needed to submit. Body painting has been popularized abroad and is a new form of art we have adopted here. Creative direction and composition are the concept of Jason.

Bonsai-Making Seminar 10102010

A day after my birthday, my friend "Yin" and I went to Marquee to have an extended birthday celebration. Fortunately, it was a good one. We came across this ongoing seminar about bonsai making, about how to take care of it, on how the art goes, on what tools to use and most importantly, what kind of plant to choose. 

We were not able to finish the seminar at it's really getting late, however, I'm still glad to know the basics. I've been such a long time fan of bonsai. It takes a lot of patience to do it and creativity to do it. 

I would like to thank Pampanga Horticulture and Bonsai Society for bringing about a seminar on Bonsai Making. Hope to see you again!

Sentosa, one of the main attraction in Singapore. It's like a giant theme park where you can swim at the beach, go to the Oceanarium, ride a cable car, race in the luge and many more.

It's one of the place that I'll surely visit once I get back in there. If you're looking for fun, Sentosa surely is the place to be.
